About Hakuba Valley

Hakuba Valley, located just 4 hours from Tokyo (Japan's capital), in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture at the base of Japan’s Northern Alps.  Hakuba Valley is made up of 10 unique resorts, all of which offer a variety of terrain, varying vertical metres and consistent 'Japanese Powder' snowfall. From mystical tree runs, to alpine chutes and beginner slopes Hakuba is a fantastic family holiday destination with  'something for everyone'.  With the alps peaks sitting at just over 3,000m, Hakuba offers magical rugged scenery and guaranteed (average 11-13m annually) snowfall - the resorts also score more bluebird days than more Northern Honshu and Hokkaido resorts - doesn't that sound like a treat.

Location

Hakuba Valley is nestled amongst the spectacular Japanese Alps, located within the northern area of Nagano district on Honshu (the main Island of Japan), approximately a 3 hour drive from Tokyo.
