Pass Collection

How do I collect my 2023 Epic Australia Pass for use in Australia?

IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED AN EPIC AUSTRALIA PASS FOR THE FIRST TIME, your Mountain Access Card or an email with collection instructions was sent to you in the past few months.

In the event that you did not receive your Mountain Access Card please sign in to your account here and select Mountain Access Cards. A QR Code will be displayed that can be scanned at a Lift Ticket Pick Up machine in resort to print your new card. Please click here for machine locations.

No QR Code in your account? Please reach out to your Guest Services team here for next steps on pass collection in resort. 

IF YOU ARE A RETURNING EPIC AUSTRALIA PASS HOLDER your lift access was automatically loaded onto your current Mountain Access Card/s once final payment was received.

How do I collect my 2023 Epic Australia Pass for use in the Northern Hemisphere?

As the RFID technology used in our Australian resorts is different from the technology used in the Northern Hemisphere resorts, you will need a different Mountain Access Card for use in each hemisphere.

What lift access is included with the 2023 Epic Australia Pass?

The 2023 Epic Australia Pass provides unlimited, unrestricted access to Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham for the 2023 Australian snow season, plus access to world-class terrain for the 2023/24 Northern Hemisphere snow season (November 2023 – April 2024).

What are North American Restricted Peak Dates for the 2023/24 season?

Lift access is restricted on certain days at the following North American resorts: Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stowe.

Looking for extended Northern Hemisphere access with the removal of Restricted Peak Dates? The 2023 Epic Australia ‘Plus’ Pass upgrade is available for purchase by Epic Australia Pass holders and includes unlimited, unrestricted lift access in all Vail resorts owned and operated resorts in North America during the 23/24 Northern Hemisphere winter season. How do I access my Epic Australia Pass benefits in Australia?

Epic Australia Pass discounts for lessons and rentals are automatically applied to Pass Holder purchases when completing your purchase online.

To access Pass Holder discounts for lessons and rentals you must purchase online and in advance:

  1. Select the resort that you wish to purchase for and sign in: Perisher, Falls Creek or Hotham
  2. Add products to your shopping cart
  3. Complete your purchase

Your discount will display in Step 3 of the purchase process: Review Order and Purchase by showing the full product total, the Epic Australia Pass benefit, and the amount due. Please note, this is displayed after you enter your credit card details, but before you review and confirm your order.

How do I access my Epic Australia Pass benefits in the Northern Hemisphere?

Epic Australia Pass discounts in Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts in the Northern Hemisphere are automatically applied to Pass holder purchases when completing your purchase online. Follow the steps below to set up your account and complete your bookings:

SET UP YOUR US EPIC PASS ACCOUNT:

  • Visit epicpass.com and select ‘Sign In’ at the top right-hand side of the page
  • Sign in using your Epic Australia Pass credentials
  • Complete Release of Liability documentation for each family member following steps outlined
If you experience any issues in accessing your account or viewing household member Pass details, please contact the Epic Australia Pass team here for assistance.

COMPLETE YOUR BOOKING:

  • Visit the Vail Resorts owned and operated resort website that you will be skiing/riding
  • Select the products you wish to purchase, ‘Add to Cart’ and then ‘Checkout’
  • Select ‘Sign in to your Epic Account’ and enter your details to ensure that your discount eligibility is registered prior to completing your purchase
Please Note: Epic Australia Pass benefits are not available in Pass Partner Resorts including: Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, Hakuba and Rutsutsu in Japan, and European resorts. 

Epic Coverage

What is Epic Coverage?

Epic Coverage is included with every 2023 Epic Australia Pass and helps you explore the mountains you love with more peace of mind. Under Epic Coverage, you may be eligible to receive a full or prorated refund of your 2023 Epic Australia Pass for certain qualifying events including, job loss and injury, as well as some COVID-19 related scenarios. Refunds are subject to eligibility and based on your Epic Coverage elections and Epic Coverage Terms and Conditions.

How do I submit an Epic Coverage cancellation request?

If you are impacted by a qualifying Personal Refund Event, you must submit a cancellation request online by clicking here.

For qualifying Personal Refund Events:

  • Documentation is required to substantiate your cancellation request. Documentation requirements are specific to each Personal Refund Event and must be submitted at the time of completing your online form. Please click here for more details.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted within 30 days of when your Personal Refund Event occurs..
