In 2020, Vail Resorts announced their commitment to creating a more inclusive and diverse environment through the launch of a new company value, Be Inclusive. This means we welcome everyone to our company, resorts and communities - and as one of our foundational values, we hold ourselves accountable for living this every day, and in everything we do. 

Since the launch of our Be Inclusive value, we’ve started to build a roadmap for a multi-year journey to address the lack of diversity in the industry. Our current focus is to improve participation and representation of all abilities in snowsports and within our Australian resorts.

We are proud of the long-standing adaptive lesson and ticket programs at Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham that continue to help people of all abilities experience our resorts. When we launched the Epic Australia Pass 5 years ago, we began a new journey to bring incredible value, flexibility and access to Australian skiers and riders. Today, we are excited to combine these efforts and create a more inclusive and equitable environment through the launch of the Epic Australia Adaptive Pass.

In line with the company’s commitment to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment through its Be Inclusive value, the new Epic Australia Adaptive Pass begins to address some of the barriers for people with impairments when skiing and riding with a lower cost for lift access to discover the magic of our Australian and North American resorts and develop their on-snow abilities.

Available to full Disabled Wintersport Australia members, National Companion Card holders, and other verified guests, the Epic Australia Adaptive Pass provides people with impairments and disabilities the chance to experience the magic of our resorts and develop their on-snow abilities, without additional costs.

Our adaptive ticket and lesson programs and the Epic Australia Adaptive pass are driven by our commitment to recognizing the different needs and barriers guests of all abilities face. This is just one step towards introducing our Be Inclusive value into our resorts and communities. There is still work to be done, and we are committed to creating lasting change.
